1. The agreement
These terms govern your use of the Brimkit application and website ("Brimkit", "we"). By subscribing to or using Brimkit you agree to them. If you are subscribing on behalf of a company, you confirm you can bind that company.
2. The licence
A confirmed trial or active subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use Brimkit on Apple hardware you own or control, for commercial or personal work, while that access remains valid. A subscription covers one person, with trial or monthly shoot allowances as described below; unused monthly shoots do not roll over unless your plan says otherwise.
3. Your content and outputs
- Your reference photographs remain yours. They are processed only to run the shoots you request.
- Images you generate with Brimkit are yours to use, including commercially.
- You are responsible for having the rights to the reference material you use, and for how you publish your outputs, including any disclosure obligations that apply to AI-generated imagery in your market.
4. Generation and shoots
Generation runs through BRIMLOCK, Brimkit's own generation system, which may execute on managed third-party compute. A shoot is one garment and up to five frames. Plans include a monthly shoot allowance; top-up credits never expire and are drawn only after the month's allowance is used. A shoot is charged once, when its first frame lands. Failed or imageless frame attempts restore the affected image credit.
5. Paid beta
Brimkit is offered as paid beta software: it is available for paid commercial use while we continue improving the product with customer feedback. Features, workflows and supported services may evolve between releases. You remain responsible for reviewing outputs before publishing them. Paid-beta status does not change the billing, cancellation, privacy or consumer rights described in these terms.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Brimkit to produce imagery of identifiable real people without their consent; casting a digital twin of a real person requires that person's consent, which you are responsible for holding. You agree not to misrepresent AI-generated imagery as photographs of a real person where that is prohibited, or to produce unlawful content, and not to attempt to defeat Brimkit's safeguards against unconsented likeness.
7. Billing, cancellation, refunds
- Checkout and billing are handled by Polar, our merchant of record. Brimkit checkout begins only after you sign in, so the checkout can be bound to that Brimkit account. A checkout return page or browser message does not itself grant access; a signed Polar confirmation must reach Brimkit before the trial or paid entitlement appears.
- Every recurring plan starts with the same introductory 7-day free trial. The shared trial allowance is one shoot and up to five images, regardless of the renewal plan chosen. The introductory trial is available once per Brimkit account. A payment card is required. Polar shows the selected plan, exact price and renewal date before you confirm.
- If you reactivate after using the introductory trial, the new subscription does not include another free trial. Before Brimkit retries checkout, it shows the selected plan's immediate monthly charge and requires your explicit confirmation. If you decline, no checkout is opened and no charge is made.
- Unless you cancel before the trial renews, Polar charges the selected monthly price in USD after 7 days: Starter $49, Studio $149, Brand $449, or Scale $1,199. The selected plan's full monthly allowance begins only after the first successful charge is confirmed. If that charge is not confirmed, Brimkit does not represent the paid plan as active.
- You can cancel a card-backed trial or paid subscription from Manage trial & cancel or Manage billing & cancel in your Brimkit website account or the Mac app, or from the Polar portal linked in billing email. Cancelling during the trial prevents the scheduled monthly charge. Cancelling an active paid plan stops renewal; access continues to the end of the period already paid.
- Deleting a Brimkit account does not cancel a Polar subscription or card-backed trial and does not by itself stop a scheduled charge. Cancel through Manage billing first if you do not want future charges, then delete the account separately.
- Top-ups cost $39 for six shoots and 30 images, never expire, and are available only while an active paid plan is confirmed.
- Fees are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law. Cancelling stops renewal; your plan runs to the end of the period already paid.
- Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice; changes never apply retroactively to a period you have already paid for.
8. Software
Brimkit is provided "as is". We work hard on reliability and quality gates, but we do not warrant that every generated frame will be acceptable for your purpose; generation engines are probabilistic systems. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
